Something about respect and pride doesn't seem to age well with time. We are here to reset the balance of paying homage to those who came before us and taking pride in where we come from. No matter what state you come from, there are things that make it unique and better than other states in at least some facet. Don't turn your back on your community and those who have built the places that you currently call, or once called, home.
